FIELD: separation of gas isotope mixtures. SUBSTANCE: centrifuge has vertical cylindrical housing with top cover provided with neck and accommodating coaxially mounted cylindrical rotor with its top cover carrying ferromagnetic packing. Rotor interior houses gas header built up of fixed tubes concentrically arranged in a spaced relation and used to deliver gas mixture to rotor and to discharge gaseous fractions from it. Cover neck mounts stator magnet with pole shoe forming annular clearance for its displacement in horizontal plane and for rotor centering. Stator magnet with pole shoe and ferromagnetic packing on rotor top cover form upper magnetic support. It is good practice to install inserts in annular clearance for locking magnet relative to cover neck. EFFECT: improved precision of rotor centering and improved efficiency of gas mixture separation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
