FIELD: metal working, namely apparatuses for layer-by-layer cutting of blocks of refractory metal.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame in which are mounted: receiving table for placing block; cutting tool fixed along the whole width of block; mechanism for moving clamps with block, said mechanism is in the form of slide driven by means of working hydraulic cylinder. In order to divide by pieces removed cuttings, cutting tool is built-up one, it has several cutters whose cutting edges are shifted in direction of block cutting by value l no less than thickness of descending cutting. Lead angles γ of adjacent cutters are different ones.
EFFECT: improved design.
