FIELD: glass industry, in particular glass melting in bath-type furnace.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method of batch preparation includes batch charging and heat treatment on oblique walls, wherein batch is lubricated and grained before charging. Before lubrication batch components are heated to 50-600C. Lubrication is carried out by using water of t = 60-700C (e.g. in mixer) up to humidity of 4-5 %; graining is carried out in screw pelletizer. Heat treatment is carried out at 820-8300C on oblique walls with controlled angle of slope. Additionally for heat treatment electrically heated device with controlled input batch temperature is used. Method affords the ability to increase power efficiency of straight-line furnace by 1.5-2 times (in particular not less than by 20-30 %).
EFFECT: improved area efficiency of fluid class and reduced emitted dust.
