FIELD: rocketry; testing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes flow tests of nozzle throat section before and after firing tests by delivering equal amount of one and the same liquid from one stationary vessel with equal height of liquid levers at beginning and end of flow tests at one and the same temperature with measuring time of liquid flow through. Change of throat section area relative to its initial value is determined by difference in flow test time of liquid flowing through throat section of nozzle.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reduced cost of test.
