FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of industrial aerodynamics and can be used for conducting aerodynamic tests of aviation and rocket technology. The installation contains a test chamber with a high-speed aerodynamic nozzle, a compressed air source with a high-pressure line, a regenerative heat exchanger for heating compressed air having a hollow housing with inlet and outlet channels of the housing cavity, an inlet air collector connected to the high-pressure line and an outlet air collector connected to the inlet of the aerodynamic nozzle, an air flow regulator, installed in a high-pressure line and connected to an automatic control system, a fire chamber with fuel injectors, a compressed air supply channel and an ignition system connected by a compressed air supply channel through an additional air flow regulator to an air pressure source, and an outlet connected to the inlet channel of the cavity of the recuperative heat exchanger housing, a fuel supply system with a fuel flow regulator connected to fuel injectors, and a heat regenerator connected to the outlet channel of the hollow body of the recuperative heat exchanger. It is also equipped with a neutral gas high-pressure source, a fuel heater installed in the fuel supply system, an acoustic generator installed in the cavity of the recuperative heat exchanger housing, and a direct-flow rheometer made in the form of a sealed measuring tank with a level sensor having a calibrated hole with a locking element located in the bottom of the measuring tank. Moreover, the supersonic aerodynamic nozzle is made with an adjustable critical cross-sectional area.
