FIELD: military equipment, in particular, fuses of the tandem-type ammunition, in which the main charge is blasted with a little delay after operation of the precharge, if a piercing is formed in the obstacle sufficient for penetration of the main charge through the obstacle, otherwise, the main charge is blasted at its impact at the obstacle, which is more effective for behind-the-obstacle action.
SUBSTANCE: the fuse functions according to one of the circuits mentioned below. The fuse for the main charge of a tandem ammunition has safety-cocking circuits, firing circuit with a pricking detonating cap located in a spring-loaded slide, and a pricking mechanism of the detonating cap with a central firing pin and an inertia body. The operating circuit with a preset delay includes the central firing pin installed for retainment of the spring-loaded slide against cocking and axial motion in the inertia body, pyrotechnical pressing located under the central firing pin, latch installed on the inertia body for locking of the central firing pin by it, side pin and a side pricking detonating cap installed for return motion of the inertia body with the central pin locked in it, pyrotechnical pressing-retarder and a beam detonating cap installed for operating motion of the inertia body, and the circuit of impact operation includes a central pin locked in the inertia body.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fuse action.
