FIELD: means for metering content of gas mixtures and monitoring gas content in explosive atmospheres.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas analyzer that can be used to monitor gas atmosphere in industrial plants with hazardous operating conditions, for instance to ensure hydrogen explosion safety under nuclear power plant containment, has transducer with sensing element, resistance meter for the latter, and transducer working chamber temperature control. Transducer is made in the form of elongated tubular casing vertically mounted with its inlet bore down. This casing accommodates gas heater and heat shield both made in the form of conducting links with gas passages. Casing mounts heater enclosing gas heater area, working chamber, and heat shield. This gas analyzer is suited to withstand hydrogen concentration within comprehensive range up to 100% at high temperatures and foreign gases, water vapor, radioactive radiation sources contained in monitored medium.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities.
