FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: partial pressure of hydrogen is measured simultaneously with measurement of speed of ultrasound in the vapour-gas medium at frequency f=0.1-1.0 MHz, pressure and temperature of the vapour-gas medium in the zone of controlling parametres of the vapour-gas medium. Volume concentration of hydrogen, water vapour and air in the vapour-gas medium is determined using defined mathematical expressions.
EFFECT: possibility of real time, highly accurate simultaneous determination of local volume concentration of hydrogen, water vapour and air in a vapour-gas medium in a wide range of concentrations in automatic mode.
