FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: meter has short pulse generator connected in series with dispersion delay line, mixer connected in series with second dispersion delay line and amplitude detector. Device has time delay measuring unit, second mixer which has input connected to input of first mixer, first and second transfer oscillator, threshold member which has input connected with output of amplitude generator. Third dispersion delay line is connected in series with second amplitude detector, second threshold member, and merging unit which has output connected with input of time delay meter. Input of third dispersion line is connected with output of second mixer and second input of merging unit is connected to output of first threshold member.

EFFECT: widened frequency range to be measured.
