FIELD: gas-discharge engineering; data displays built around gas panels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas panel has first and second insulating plates 1 and 2, respectively; inner surface of first plate mounts set of parallel electrodes 3 and that of second one, set of electrodes 4 connected past sealing joint to contact pads 5 and 6, respectively. Insulating coating 7 on electrodes past sealing joint can be applied both to electrodes proper and between them which makes it possible to prevent damage to electrodes in the course of gas panel manufacture and when connecting the latter to data display and also to eliminate open circuits in gas panel.
EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and operating reliability of gas panel.
