SUBSTANCE: emissive material coating of ac gas panel on insulating coating of two display electrodes that form preparatory discharge gaps has rough surface above these display electrodes. When display electrodes forming preparatory discharge gaps are coated with insulating material incorporating light-melting glass, high-melting material layer that may also have rough surface is formed between insulating coatings and emissive material.
EFFECT: enhanced brightness and sharpness of image.
