SEA-BUCKTHORN GROWING METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, horticulture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing row laying out of plantation with maternal and paternal seedlings; providing care for plantation; harvesting yield by alternatively harvesting plants by means of combine and mowing plants, with following separation of fruit from branches under stationary conditions; during laying out of plantation, arranging paternal plants in individual rows in 15-20 rows of basic plants; for commercial fruit-bearing, harvesting first two yields by means of combine; during third year of fruit-bearing, mowing maternal plants and providing harvesting under stationary conditions; during two following years, restoring plantation from dormant buds on stumps of maternal plant stumps by forming thereon generative sphere; harvesting sea-buckthorn yield for subsequent two years by means of combine; during following year, removing remaining plants from plantation by mowing for further usage of biomass.

EFFECT: reduced yield loss and increased yield of commercial product from unit of area of plantation.
