METHOD TO GROW SPINY ELEUTHEROCOCCUS ON PLANTATION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A01G1/00 A01G23/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. In the method plantations are laid with row planting of 3-4-year seedlings on forest areas of south expositions in the middle and lower parts of a gentle slope up to 5 degrees in forest plant conditions of fresh suramens, sudubravas and oak-groves or on developed and cultured structural soils of agricultural purpose. Plants are arranged in separate rows at the distance of at least 7 m from the adjacent forest plantation at the south and west sides. Seedlings are placed using the pattern of 5 x 4-5 m, previously planting seats are marked. Fertilisers are introduced under the planting seat at the radius of up to 1 m till the level of average provision of main mineral supply elements, and soil is dug for the depth of 23-25 cm. The planting is carried out in spring in the period of budding until leafing starts, and in autumn - after autumn fall of leaves until steady freezing weather establishes. After plating, in the first 3-4 years, 1-2 times in the period of vegetation, in the period from the third decade of June to July, inclusive, hand treatments are carried out, which consist in removal of grass at the radius of up to 1 m from the plant, and in space between rows the grass is mowed. Stocking roots and rhizomes starts from 6-8-year plants, by digging at the distance of at least 20 cm from the extreme stem, depending on size and development of plants once in a year or once in two years, by alternation of 20-25% of biological stock in sectors with recovery of soil fertility.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce medicinal raw materials without considerable costs.
