METHOD FOR GROWING RASPBERRY IN CONDITIONS OF KOMI REPUBLIC Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A01G1/00 A01B79/02 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes laying a plantation, selecting crops for planting and planting a berry crop from the windward side in places with the increased accumulation of snow cover. The plantation is laid in areas where groundwater is not closer than one metre from the soil surface. The plantings are arranged by the cluster or tape method, at least three varieties of raspberries are used: an early ripening variety, a mid-ripening one, and a late ripening one, adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Komi Republic, with the possibility of cross-pollination of flowers of different varieties selected from the series: Hussar; Bell; Wolnitsa; Ottawa; Dawn of Altai; Eyas; Samara dense; Peresvet. For planting, raspberry seedlings with well-developed annual root offsprings with the roots of at least 10-15 cm, with a thick fibril and an aerial sprout part with the thickness of not less than 8-10 mm. The plantings are mulched twice in spring and autumn with peat-manure compost. After overwintering, in the early spring, the sprouts are cut to the first normally developed and overwintered bud, removing frozen or unripened dry tops. Annually, organic fertilizers improving the soil structure are applied.

EFFECT: prolongating the fruiting period of raspberry, increasing its viability in conditions of low temperatures and increasing the yield.
