FIELD: manufacture and repair of fire engines.

SUBSTANCE: vehicle body, in particular, fire engine body, has part arranged above frame and provided with cross-pieces, water tank mounted on said part, front and rear sections, and sets of left-handed and right-handed sections. Part of body arranged above frame has longitudinal horizontal platforms fixed on cross-pieces. Left-handed and right-handed body sections made in the form of individual detachable units are mounted on longitudinal horizontal platforms. Vertical spring-loaded handles on outer surface of doors of each of said sections are flush-mounted in openings.

EFFECT: provision for repairability and unification of fire engine body.
