FIELD: production of toroidal articles including fabric threads used as reinforcing member and binder.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotary device, beam secured on rotary device, and platforms mounted on beam. Mandrel is mounted and fixed on platforms so as to be moved through winding head and thermal chamber. Gear is fixed in central part of rotary device and mandrel rotation drive is mounted on frame and connected with gear. Winding head is equipped with shaft and spools fixed on shaft and adapted for longitudinal winding of prepreg, vertical and horizontal rollers for rolling of wound prepreg, and shaft base, onto which electric engine is mounted. Electric engine has coupling and reducer with pulley. Column is positioned on shaft frame. Pulley with belt, replaceable gears, winding head rotation cut-out device and detachable gear are mounted on column. Spools and tape laying devices for circular winding of prepreg, and braking guiding rollers are fixed on detachable gear. Detachable thermal chamber has casing with closure, upper and lower housings. Electric heaters are arranged between casing and housings and connected with one another through cable.

EFFECT: improved quality of manufacture of articles and increased strength characteristics.
