FIELD: materials handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gripping devices for load-lifting machines. Proposed round load-lifting electromagnet consists of steel case with central through hole and magnet coil series-connected to ac source of load-lifting machine. According to invention, compression spring is movably installed in central through hole of steel case. Upper part of spring is rigidly secured on shaft of electric motor installed on case, and lower part is rigidly connected with journal of steel disk on surface of which pointed to case cavities are made. Sector flat knives are installed in cavities for angular turning, said knives being connected by extension springs with said journals of steel disk.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
