FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in that concentrated calcium chloride solution is thermally treated when atomized in fluidized bed, which is created by flue gas flow passed from hearth under gas-distributing grid of furnace. Simultaneously, gas-distributing grid is chilled by introducing air into caisson part of gas-distributing grid to attain temperature difference 100 to 500оС between flue gas and surface of grid contacting with fluidized bed, whereas temperature difference between this surface of grid and fluidized bed is 100 to 150оС. Heated gas escaping gas-distributing grid is sent into hearth to form flue gas.
EFFECT: intensified granulation process.
