FIELD: preparation of magnesium chloride raw material. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading of raw material into fluidized-bed furnace, treatment of raw material with flue gases for dehydration and additional treatment with flue gases by delivery through tuyeres of tuyere belt; material is loaded into multi-chamber fluidized-bed furnace at successive motion of material through series of horizontal chambers; additional delivery of flue gases is performed through tuyeres at temperature of 690-700 C from two opposite sides at rate of 30-50 s. Device proposed for realization of this method includes fluidized-bed furnace with loading branch pipe and gas distributing grate, fire boxes for supply of flue gases to furnace for forming fluidized bed, additional fire box, tuyeres of tuyere belt connected directly with additional fire box and dust cyclone; fluidized-bed furnace is multi-chamber furnace; each chamber is provided with fire box for delivery of flue gases; tuyere belt is located on three sides of fluidized-bed furnace and tuyeres are located on two sides of each chamber of furnace.
