SUBSTANCE: raffinose synthase is prepared by culturing the host-cell transformed with vector comprising raffinose synthase gene. Prepared raffinose synthase is isolated from cultural liquid. Partial nucleotide sequence of gene encoding raffinose synthase is used as a probe or primer. Invention allows carrying out the modulation of level of expression and activity in plants.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable properties of gene and enzyme.
