SUBSTANCE: polynucleotide is selected from the group consisting of: (a) a polynucleotide consisting of the base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; (B) a polynucleotide hybridizing under stringent conditions to a polynucleotide consisting of a base sequence, complementary to the base sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, and encodes a protein having the activity of sugar transfer to a hydroxyl group at the 4'-position of the flavone; (c) a polynucleotide encoding a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2.
EFFECT: invention allows to efficiently obtain a polynucleotide that encodes a protein having the activity of sugar transfer to the said hydroxyl group.
