FIELD: metallurgy, in particular quick-cutting steel for metal-cutting tool and hot straining die.
SUBSTANCE: claimed steel contains (mass %) carbon 0.80-0.95; chromium 3.8-4.3; molybdenum 0.08-1.0; tungsten 17.0-18.0; vanadium 1.0-2.5; manganese 0.40-0.50; zirconium 1.9-2.0; nitrogen 0.95-1.0; silicium 0.2-0.5; sulfur 0.0015-0.025; phosphorus 0.025-0.035; and balance: iron. Steel of present invention is useful for manufacturing of tools operating under extreme condition instead of common cobalt steel.
EFFECT: metal-cutting tool with increased performance.
