FIELD: metallurgy, in particular low-alloy steel.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-alloy, thin-sheet, weldable, structural steel for manufacturing of heavy hauler platforms. Claimed steel contains (mass %): carbon 0.12-0.20; manganese 1.0-1.8; silicium 0.4-0.7; chromium 0.4-0.8; aluminium 0.02-0.05; vanadium 0.04-0.08; nitrogen <=0.015; copper 0.1-0.4; nickel <=2.5; calcium 0.002-0.050; niobium <=0.06; titanium <=0.03; boron 0.001-0.005; phosphorus <=0.02; sulfur <=0.015; and balance: iron.
EFFECT: steel with improved tensile strength and reduced shrinkage of hot-rolled thin-sheet product.
