FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed axial-flow rotary compressor has double-row ball bearing to outer race of which beginnings of two screw blades of similar entry are secured to form rotor-propeller. Fairing with engine is connected to inner ring of bearing housing, being ring part of compressor housing provided with side slot. Flat bottom with diameter equal to diameter of rotor-propeller inscribed in circle and installed inside cylindrical sleeve at distance equal to height of rotor-propeller from its edge, is coaxially connected to other end, face, at minimum clearance with trailing edges of blades. Inner surface of sleeve is at minimum distance from end faces of blades. Bottom has two slots directed to depth from surface into which springs are inserted and then plate partitions pushed out of slots of depth equal to width of partitions onto blade attack planes to form compression chambers. Delivery valves are installed in bottom before plate partitions, and flange is installed on end face sleeve remote from rotor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of compressor, simplified design.
