FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: swing bolt has a linear lengthened metallic fastening member provided with thread and selectively brittle positioning and fastening unit which engages the metallic fastening member. The positioning and fastening unit has at least one brittle positioning tab made for permitting its use when metallic fastening member moves to its axially aligned position to set it in the port of the base and move it with the stop to the distant side of the base. In addition, the positioning and fastening unit has one-sided movable collar which is made to provide engagement at least with one of the positioning tabs and movement along it toward the fit with interference to the base. The excessive part of the positioning tap can be brittle and removed. Each tab is arc-shaped in cross-section and provided with several teeth spaced in the axial direction and arranged in its concave part. The collar to be engaged mates the concave part and is provided with a tooth to provide ratchet engagement with ribbed teeth.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability and serviceability.
