FIELD: production of material for means of individual protection.

SUBSTANCE: piercing-resistant material containing at least one layer with thickness D, consisting of two layers of fabric joined by an adhesive substance. The first layer consists of the first set-up of threads, containing 3.5 to 20 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 210 dtex making up at last 65 per cent of the fabric mass, and the elemental threads make up threads with diameter F₁, and of the second set-up of threads, containing 0.5 to 16 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 50 dtex. The second set-up of threads is positioned at an angle of >0° to 90° relative to the first set-up of threads, and the relation of the quality of thread/cm in the first and second set-ups exceeds 1. Similarly the second layer of fabric consists of the first set-up of threads, containing 0.5 dtex, and of the second set-up of threads, containing 0.5 to 16 thread/cm, with a linear density of at least 210 dtex. The first and second set-ups of threads in the first and second set-ups of threads in the second fabric layer, and the D/F₁ and D/F₂ ratios are within 14.5 to 40.

EFFECT: enhanced resistance of material to piercing.
