FIELD: piercing-resistant material and products made of it (bulletproof armored vests, armor plates).
SUBSTANCE: the material has at least a double layer of cloth material. The first layer of the cloth consists of the first set of threads of a definite linear density, making up at least 65% of the cloth mass, and of the second layer of threads with a definite linear density, the second set of threads is arranged transversely with respect to the first set of threads, and the proportion of the quantity of threads/cm in the first set to the respective value for the second set >1. The second layer of the cloth consists of the first set of threads with a definite linear density, making up at least 65% of the cloth mass, the second set of threads is arranged transversely with respect to the first set of threads, and the proportion of the quantity of threads/cm in the second set to the respective value in the first set >1. The first and second sets of threads in the first layer are oriented in parallel with respect to the first and second sets of threads, respectively, in the second layer.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture, absence of crossed arrangement of layers, which causes a danger of formation of weak points.
