FIELD: instrumentation engineering; assembly, guidance, and beam control of information transfer systems including alignment of radiation beam and information control channel axes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes division of light beam arriving from item under check into two light beams, generation of first light beam pattern in focal plane of first lens, and generation of second light beam pattern in focal plane of collimator at the same time visualizing first light beam pattern on video monitor; parameters of information control field are checked by optoelectronic method, second light beam is analyzed, and values are recorded. Device implementing this method has first lens optically coupled with video monitor, beam divider, and collimator incorporating second lens that mounts dot calibration diaphragm on its focal plane optical axis, photodetector connected to coordinate computing unit and to first input of recording device whose second and third inputs are connected to first and second outputs of coordinate computing unit, respectively, beam divider being optically coupled with first lens. Proposed method and device are distinguished by high-precision check for linear and angular misalignment due to precise evaluation of light spot energy center of radiation beam in information control field, precise evaluation of information center, and precise evaluation of offset of information control field propagation axis with respect to information control channel axis for different scale of pattern.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of monitoring for linear and angular misalignments.
