FIELD: industrial hygiene systems, namely apparatuses for stupefying animals by electric method.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes hollow handle and contact electrodes housed in telescopic protective tube. Knocking out springs are rigidly mounted inside constructional parts of said tube. Electrically conducting plate is mounted on switch-hammer. On end of switch-hammer at one side lever with fork is rigidly mounted for engaging with stopper. Other side of end of switch-hammer is joined with housing of apparatus. Pinion is rigidly mounted on hollow shaft of electric motor behind drum. Current lead wire passes inside hollow axle rigidly secured at both sides to housing of apparatus. Said axle passes (from housing of apparatus until pinion edge) inside hollow shaft of electric motor. Current lead wire is introduced to central part of drum through outlet opening of hollow axle and opening of hollow shaft of electric motor. Then wire is wound onto hollow shaft of electric motor and passes through flared portion of drum body to telescopic protective tube. Wire is rigidly secured to hollow axle in its outlet opening. Hollow axle is mounted in hollow shaft of electric motor by means of sliding bearing assemblies. Drum is mounted on hollow shaft of electric motor and it is rigidly secured to casing of said motor.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of operator using portable apparatus for stupefying animals.
