FIELD: table games, in particular, teaching facilities.
SUBSTANCE: letter game has two sets of cards with Latin letters applied thereto. Consonant letters are presented once in each set of cards, and vowel letters are presented twice. Each letter is applied onto card in straight and inverted position. Cards of one set have features different from those of cards of second set. Each set of cards includes groups with equal number of cards proportional to letters depending on coefficients of frequency of usage in language and identity of vowel letters. Cards have designations corresponding to groups. Game is equipped with playing field divided by linear lines into cells similar to shape of cards and defining eight vertical and eight horizontal rows of cells.
EFFECT: simplified and compact construction and increased efficiency by combined entertaining and teaching processes.
