FIELD: sugar industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves clarification of crude sugar cane in the clarifying mixer comprising sections and fitted with stirring blades. Catholyte with pH value 10.5-11.5 is fed to the first section and sugar is dissolved up to the content in the solution 12.0-18.0%. Milk of lime is fed to sections of a mixer for defecation of clarification up to pH value 10.8-11.2. Wash waters are fed to the mixer section wherein time for defecation is 4-6 min. The obtained clarification of crude sugar is heated followed by defecation of heated clarification, saturation and filtration. Invention provides enhancing purity of the purified clarification and reducing lime consumption as compared with the known method.
EFFECT: improved method for treatment.
