METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF THE LUMP SUGAR MASSECUITE OUT OF THE CANE-SUGAR RAW Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C13F1/02 

FIELD: sugar industry; methods of production of the purified massecuite from cane-sugar raw.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the sugar industry. The method provides for its affination, liquoring of the affinated raw sugar, defecation of the produced melt liquor up to achievement in it of pH equal to 7.3-7.7 with simultaneous introduction in it of the active powdery charcoal in the mixture with the kieselguhr with the subsequent filtration of the melt liquor. At that the consumption of the active charcoal compounds 0.4-0,8 % and the kieselguhr - 0.6-1.0 % to the mass of the melt sugar liquor. The filtered purified melt sugar liquor is directed to the preliminary evaporation of massecuite up to the contents in it of 38-42 % of sugar crystals to its mass. This massecuite is subjected to centrifuging. At that the produced granulated sugar is dissolved till achievement of the contents of the dry substances in the syrup of 60-65 %, it is decolored, gated through the layer of the anionite, and then fed to the boiling of the refined massecuite. The invention ensures the improvement of the quality of purification of the raw sugar melt sugar liquor fed to the boiling of the refining massecuite, the increase of output and quality of refined sugar.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved quality of purification of the raw sugar melt sugar liquor and the increased output and quality of the refined sugar.
