FIELD: fiber-optics lighting fixtures; illumination of various objects, such as microscopes and inner cavities in medicine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fiber-optical illuminator is provided with multi-colored light sources made in form of common plate with light-emitting diodes with red, green and blue spectral of radiation; plate is mounted in body bottom. Body is coated with light-reflecting layer; body is symmetric relative to central axis; its surface is described by second -degree equation; diameter of bottom exceeds diameter of outlet hole. According to another version, body is flat. Plate with light-emitting diodes may be spherical in shape so that optical axes of light sources should be directed to input ends of light conduit bundle. Control unit includes microprocessor for setting the color. Output ends of light conduits may be brought to light distributor made in form of cylindrical pipe or in form of torus coated with light-reflecting layer; side of pipe or torus directed to object to be illuminated has no light-reflecting coat.
EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced overall dimensions; enhanced reliability and safety.
