FIELD: applicable as outdoor clock in cities and big settlements.
SUBSTANCE: the electromechanical clock has a microcontroller, receiver of the satellite navigation system, power supply unit connected to the municipal lighting network and to the supply inputs of the power amplifiers, macrocontroller and a receiver, power amplifiers connected to the outputs of the microcontroller and to the step motors connected respectively to the clockwork mechanism, the microcontroller has a crystal oscillator with a time counter, and a computer coupled via the general network to the time counter, parallel input port, series input-output port, parallel input port, series input-output port, parallel output port, analog-to-digital converter and a permanent storage of data on the boundaries of time zones, as well as pickups of the position of the minute hands at the zero marks fastened on the dials of the clockwork mechanisms, whose outputs are respectively connected to the inputs of the microcontroller.
EFFECT: simplified servicing of the outdoor municipal electromechanical clock due to provision of self-adjustment of the clock to the local time, self-correction of the clockwork mechanisms, self-recovery of the current local time in case of a malfunction, diagnostics of the condition of the system components, prolonged service life and timely replacement of the storage cell due to indication of the result of the analysis of its condition.
