FIELD: automatic traffic control systems. SUBSTANCE: device has central route detectors, dispatching station with transmitter and carriers. In addition device has checkpoints, each of which has short and long range transmitters which are connected to microcontroller. Central dispatching station has communication channels interface, digital-to-analog converter, voice communication unit, analog-to- digital converter. In addition device has local-area network which has file-server channel interface unit and workstations for dispatchers and service personnel. Control unit of each city line carrier is designed using microcontroller. EFFECT: simultaneous operations of several dispatchers, radio connection to other information sources and receivers using modems, automatic information exchange between carriers, checkpoints and central dispatching station, increased speed, quality and validity of information processing, possibility of voice communication between driver and dispatcher without interruption of telemetry information transmission. 2 cl, 3 dwg
