FIELD: jet engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed of operation of pulsejet detonation engine includes priming of charge of explosive, expansion of detonation products and interaction of detonation products with deflector of following cassette, thus providing specific thrust impulse. After [priming of subsequent charge, detonation products are formed into directional jet flowing to side of deflector of following cassette. Till moment of interaction of detonation products with deflector of following cassette, incident shock wave is formed and dropping of deflector of primed cassette accompanied with increase of cross section area of deflector with preservation of its integrity occurs. After moment of interaction, double-deflection phase is realized, shock wave pursuit dropped deflector, deflects from the latter and again acts onto deflector of following cassette. Proposed pulsejet engine includes successively operating coaxially interconnected cassettes. Each cassette is furnished with charge of explosive, primer and deflector. Deflectors are made in form of chambers with their bottom pointed to side opposite to direction of engine movement. Side surfaces of deflectors are provided with longitudinal cuts to weaken the structure to provide, after priming of charge, separation of side surface into segments connected with bottom.
EFFECT: provision of higher values of specific power and specific thrust impulse of jet engine.
