FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: detonation engine includes an explosive detonator, a useful load and at least one pair of connected detonation elements representing two coaxially arranged discs, first of which is connected to the explosive detonator, and the latter is coupled with the useful load. One side of each disc is made flat, the other side of the disc is complex-shaped and has at least two inner and outer concentric grooves communicating with each other by means of a passageway, in addition, each disc has an ignition hole arranged opposite to the passageway relative to disc center of in one of pair discs, in outer groove, and in the other one-in the inner groove.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the detonation engine by using multiple reflection of the detonation wave from the spent stage and the engine, efficient conversion of explosives chemical energy into mechanical pulse due to repeated reflection of the detonation wave.
