FIELD: air cleaners for internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has housing attached to engine and provided with cover; filter element arranged inside said housing is made in form of concentric external and internal perforated cylinders with multi-beam paper curtain located in between them, upper and lower elastic covers rigidly mounted on end faces of perforated cylinders and filter cloth in form of tubular knitted fabric of rib weave from polymer non-stretchable and elastomer fibers located on outer surface of external cylinder; tubular knitted fabric is made by rib weave and stitches form through pores where stitches of right side exceed those of wrong side by 1.5-3 times; additional elastomer weft fiber is laid in between stitches of right and wrong sides.

EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning air at increased revolution of engine.
