FIELD: purification of liquids and gases from solid particles; applicable in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, automotive and other industries. SUBSTANCE: filter medium may be used in ecological processes of sewage water treatment and cleaning of flue gases where filter media are used on vibration filters. Filter medium is made in the form of knitted fabric by interweaving of lastings whose layers form through pores from threads one of which is elastomer and has increased loop rods of loop frame from nonstretchable thread, which form filtering surface from one side and from other side of filter medium. In this case, loops of elastomer thread form flexible frame inside filter medium, and increased loop arcs from nonstretchable thread are located between loop rods of both sides to ensure bulking of filter medium. EFFECT: higher output due to reduced time of filter medium reclamation, and improved quality of filtering process. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
