FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: disk brake comprises support (1) mounted in the vicinity of brake disk (2) mounted on the wheel axle of a vehicle. Thrust shaft (11) of the disk brake converts rotation provided by driving member (3) into reciprocation to transmit it to brake block (12) for braking the disk. The thrust shaft has nonrotating lead screw, rotatable member with threaded coupling which engages the lead screw, and pinion (10) of thrust shaft for receiving rotation. The unit made of roller and inclined surface, which is spring-loaded in operation, is interposed between the member with threaded coupling and pinion (10) of the thrust shaft and is used for rotation of the member around the lead screw when counteraction to the lead screw is weak and for axial movement of the member and lead screw when counteraction to the lead screw is strong.
EFFECT: improved performance of disk brake.
