FIELD: drying equipment, in particular, convective drying of grain in agriculture, grain production industry and food-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drying chamber including modules comprising lower immovable sieves fixed on cylindrical casing of drying chamber, and upper drive sieves fixed on vertical shaft of drying chamber. Sieve webs are made curved and their apexes are oriented in opposite directions along vertical axis of drying chamber to define inner space for blowing of working surfaces of sieves from one side of module to other side of module. Sieve webs are made non-sieving and equipped with diametrical slots whose axes are arranged in axial sections of drying chamber to allow passage of material under drying process. Diametrical slots of immovable sieves are arranged in one axial plane of section to divide cylindrical casing of drying chamber into two halves. One half of cylindrical casing of drying chamber is hermetically connected with heat-carrier source and other half of cylindrical casing is connected with suction branch pipe of fan. Transportation devices are positioned on upper drive sieves, lower immovable sieves 3 and lower immovable sieves, cover and drive sieve of discharge device at side of lower module.
EFFECT: increased drying rate, increased coefficient of utilization of energy of drying agent owing to creating of laminar flows of drying agent.
