FIELD: armament, in particular, fire control systems of armored equipment.
SUBSTANCE: after a single laying and retaining of the sight index on the target after a single pressing and retaining of the firing button the range is measured and, in case of its correct measurement, a shot is made. In case of an improper range measurement a failure signal is produced with indication to the operator, and, if a shot is impossible, the range measurement is repeated until a correct measurement is obtained.
EFFECT: reduced time of shot preparation and simplified operation of the operator.
