HOMOGENIZING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for producing homogenized liquids, may be used in food-processing industry for obtaining of milk products.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has piston unit, suction collector and delivery collector, homogenizing head with inlet and outlet openings and pressure gauge. Apparatus is additionally furnished with pipeline for connecting suction collector with outlet annular slot of homogenizing head. Homogenizing head is made in the form of vortex pipe with at least one inlet ejector arranged tangentially of cylindrical surface of chamber for creating of free vortex, and is further equipped with two outlets arranged at opposite ends of chamber. One outlet is made in the form of opening and other outlet is made in the form of annular slot for discharge of under-homogenized product. Outlet opening is arranged at chamber part proximate to inlet end, and outlet annular slot is arranged at chamber part remote from chamber inlet end and is defined by valve and chamber casing, said slot being regulated by adjusting of spring tightening extent. Apparatus of such construction allows effectiveness of homogenization process to be increased at pressures of 5-20 MPa.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of apparatus and improved quality of homogenized product.
