FIELD: powder metallurgy, possibly manufacture of hot-deformed powder materials on base of mechanically and chemically activated mixture of aluminum-alloy chip powder and aluminum powder.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of producing chip powder by mechanically and chemically activating chips of aluminum alloy in atmosphere of saturated aqueous solution of orthoboric acid; sieving powder for separating fraction with size 315 micrometers; preparing mixture of chip powder and aluminum powder and subjecting mixture to mechanical and chemical activation; adding to prepared mixture non-activated aluminum powder in quantity 30 - 60 mass %; shaping blanks, heating them and subjecting blanks to hot after-compaction.
EFFECT: enhanced ductility of powder material.
