FIELD: marine engineering; depth stabilization units for drifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed depth stabilization unit includes pressure sensor, control system, electric motor switch mechanically connected with working member and storage battery. Mounted in parallel with pressure sensor is differential pressure sensor whose second cavity is connected with outside medium through compensating reservoir and electromagnetic valve connected with control system by signals. Working member is made in form of hydraulic pump transferring sea water to ballast chamber connected with high-pressure air source by means of pipe lines and valves and with sea medium by means of safety valve.
EFFECT: possibility of keeping the unit at preset depth at high accuracy.
