FIELD: ships and other floating facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles (AUUV) of glider type intended for oceanographic research. Glider-type autonomous unmanned underwater-surface vehicle includes a hull, wings pivotally connected to the hull, a buoyancy change mechanism, roll and trim control mechanisms, satellite navigation unit, control unit, data collection and transmission unit. Roll control mechanism in surface position provides overturning of vehicle by 90° relative to vertical, and wings are equipped with servo drives capable of turning them through 360° relative to the transverse axis of the apparatus. Wings are equipped with weather sensors determining wind speed and direction.
EFFECT: shorter time for transition of the glider-type autonomous underwater-surface vehicle to the designated operation area while simultaneously saving onboard energy resources.
