FIELD: oil and gas producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used both for lifting formation fluids from wells and completion of wells. Proposed pumping unit contains rotary and lift strings, screw pump whose holder is secured on end of lift string and encloses screw secured on end of rotary string. Screw pump is furnished additionally with cone with stop and housing accommodating slips made integral with spring-loaded friction chamber enclosing the holder. Cone is turned on thread made in upper part of holder. Stop member installed in cover of housing gets into shaped slot made on outer surface of holder. Cover of housing rests on stop found on surface of pump holder.

EFFECT: improved reliability, increased operating characteristics of pumping unit owing to enlarged functional capabilities of screw pump.
