FIELD: gas-and-oil extraction industry.
SUBSTANCE: the downhole pump unit is intended for use in oil and gas extraction industry and may be used, for example, both in the capacity of water-raising unit and for extraction of the stratum liquids at operation and development of boreholes. The downhole pump unit contains a spinning tubing, a production tubing and a multiple-start screw pump, which casing is fixed on the production tubing. The helical surface of the multiple-start gyrator mechanism of the screw pump is made with the following kinematic ratio i chosen from 2/3 up to 11/12 and with a ratio of a step to effective diameter of the helical surface - within the range from 6 up to 12. The invention allows to raise efficiency and to increase service life of the downhole pump unit.
EFFECT: the invention ensures increased efficiency and service life of the downhole pump unit.
