SUBSTANCE: submerged pumping unit has rotating and tubing strings and multiple-start screw pump whose holder is secured on tubing string. Screw is secured on rotating string. Screw surface of multiple-start geared-rotor mechanism of screw pump is made with kinematic ratio I from 2/3 to 11/12 and ratio of pitch to mean diameter of screw surface P/D_m is set within the range from 3.5 to 6. EFFECT: increased efficiency of pumping unit and its service life. 6 dwg
