FIELD: small arms, applicable for combat operations.

SUBSTANCE: the method provides for feeding of cartridges from two and more magazines simultaneously. The following operations are performed in succession: cartridge feeding from the magazine to the drum chamber, drum turning up to the coincidence of the chamber axis with the barrel axis, making a shot, turning of the drum for the subsequent extraction of the cartridge case, feeding of cartridges to two and more chambers is accomplished from two and more magazines simultaneously. Drum turning for making a shot is performed up to the coincidence of the axes of two and more loaded chambers with the axes of the respective number of barrels installed in the weapon, the shots are made simultaneously or in succession.

EFFECT: enhanced load of ammunition and enhanced rate of fire.
